No10 Spice® BBQ Chicken with Naram® Masala

Juicy, smoky BBQ chicken made with yoghurt, lemon, garlic and No10 Spice blends. This recipe brings warmth, colour and balanced flavour without overpowering the chicken.

Perfect for summer BBQs, family dinners, weekend cooking or serving with fresh salad, naan, roti or grilled vegetables.

Ingredients

Chicken thighs, drumsticks or wings
2 tablespoons oil
2 tablespoons yoghurt
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon No10 Spice Turmeric Powder
2 teaspoons No10 Spice Coriander & Cumin Powder
½ teaspoon No10 Spice Red Chilli Powder, optional
2 teaspoons No10 Spice Naram Masala
Fresh coriander, optional

Method

Add the chicken to a large bowl.

Add oil, yoghurt, lemon juice, garlic and salt.

Add No10 Spice® Turmeric, Coriander & Cumin, Red Chilli Powder if you want heat, and Naram Masala.

Mix well until the chicken is fully coated.

Cover and leave to marinate for at least 1 hour. Overnight is best.

Cook on the BBQ over medium heat, turning regularly until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred on the outside.

Finish with fresh coriander and serve with salad, naan, roti or grilled vegetables.
